Job Description

Interpath Laboratory is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and people-oriented Director of Business Development & Sales to lead our rapidly growing operations throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

 

The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDR) to grow sales for Interpath and specific call points to include women’s health, oncology, pathology, pain management, behavior health, hospitals and others that need clinical labs, anatomical pathology and have esoteric needs.

 

This position will be based out of Interpath Laboratory's corporate headquarters in Pendleton, Oregon. Must be willing to relocate to Pendleton or relocate to a drivable commuting distance of Pendleton (Tri-cities WA, Walla Walla WA, La Grande OR, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team and a strategic pipeline that includes large – mid-size opportunities.
  • Will be required to be on the road with members of the sales team a few days a week.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of clinical lab to effectively engage in the consultative sales approach for the purpose of bringing value to Interpath’s prospects and clients.
  • Lead successful product launches and new account acquisitions and maintenance to ensure critical sales growth.
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds sales goals.
  • Develops and executes a strategic territory business plan that will enable Interpath to gain market share and achieve the sales goals set by executive team.
  • Leverages HC1 (CRM) and other data sources for commercial sales metrics and customer management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ethical, communicative professional who says what they mean and does what they say.
  • Experience calling on providers, large provider groups, lab managers and CFOs of large hospital systems.
  • Experience selling clinical laboratory services (microbiology, hematology, molecular, or anatomic pathology).
  • 5+ years industry sales management experience and deep knowledge in a relevant industry/commercial environment (clinical-anatomical lab, pharma, diagnostics medicine).
  • Proven success with new product launches and driving new business in a highly competitive and complex market.
  • Multiple sales award winner with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Demonstrated success working in a highly matrixed environment with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time for internal and external meetings.
  • Sales proficiency, account management, technical knowledge, and domain expertise.
  • CRM-based pipeline management experience.
  • Attend work regularly and on time.
