Job Description

Plan, design, implement, maintain, and provide ongoing optimization and support for LIS software and related enterprise clinical applications. Validate, document and perform workflow assessments and impact analysis. Capture business needs and analyze internal systems to determine requirements for optimal utilization of applications. Possess clinical and application knowledge and experience. Work within cross-functional teams and with end users to meet clinical needs. Conduct tasks and assignments as directed, with moderate instruction and guidance from senior team members, team leads and direct supervisor. 


Job Functions: 

  • Design, implement and maintain configurations in the LIS and related enterprise clinical
    laboratory applications while ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Design, implement and maintain instrument interfaces in DI Instrument Manager and
  • Design, implement and maintain configurations on the Automation Line.
  • Design, implement and maintain configurations in Laboratory Quality Assurance
  • All duties require maintaining proper documentation and compliance with CAP
  • Take initiave and work independently, yet be a good team member

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years Interpath LIS experience
2+ years DI Instrument Manager experience
2+ years Clinical Laboratory experience
Extensive knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Instrumentation operation and configuration
Experience as a Lab Assistant, MLT, or MT is a plus.

General Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity for office machine operation including computer; stooping, bending, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
