    Minimum Qualifications

    The ideal applicant will meet at least 80% of the criteria listed below;

    1. Microsoft Certification; MCSE, MCITP or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
    2. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2019) /desktop Operating Systems (10)
    3. Managing in excess of 50 Windows Server infrastructure
    4. Managing deployments/rollouts via GPO or 3rd party
    5. SAN hardware knowledgeable
    6. Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server and VMware Horizon VDI
    7. A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
    8. Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
    9. Active Directory Group Policy design and configuration
    10. Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
    11. LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
    12. Linux server administration, essentials desired
    13. Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
    14. Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
    15. IT hardware or software certifications
    16. Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, AV and IDS concepts
    17. Identity and Access Management
    18. Monitor computer networks for security issues
    19. Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents
    20. Fix detected system vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
    21. Assist researching security enhancements and make recommendations to management
    22. Stay up-to-date on information technology trends in security standards

    General Areas of Responsibility

    • Assist in Server infrastructure implementation and support based on best practices, corporate directives and service requirements
    • Software installation, upgrades, migration, maintenance
    • User account maintenance and support
    • End user, PC, and Peripheral support
    • PC setup and imaging
    • Network infrastructure support -  Routing, switching, VPN, Wireless configuration and support
    • Project management, collaboration with IT team and executive staff
    • SQL database installation and maintenance
    • Disaster Recovery management
    • Virtualization administration of Hyper-V 2012 using System Center and other tools
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Specific Areas of Responsibility

    • Dell PowerEdge server administration, Dell ThinClient support
    • Assist in Server infrastructure implementation and support based on best practices, corporate directives and service requirements
    • Software installation, upgrades, migration, maintenance
    • User account maintenance and support
    • End user, PC, and Peripheral support
    • PC setup and imaging
    • Network infrastructure support -  Routing, switching, VPN, Wireless configuration and support
    • Project management, collaboration with IT team and executive staff
    • SQL database installation and maintenance
    • Disaster Recovery management
    • Service Desk technical support
    • On-call rotation every few months
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    General Physical Requirements

    • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of 30-60 lbs.
    • Occasional-to-regular kneeling, bending, stooping to perform installations.
